There is no school for students on Friday, April 18. Take this extra day and catch up on homework. There is NO SATURDAY SCHOOL on April 19.
The PTO is sponsoring a RUMMAGE SALE on Friday, May 16 from 5pm – 7:30pm. Buy a table (proceeds go to the PTO fund for students) and whatever you sell, you keep the profit. Student Committees will be selling concessions, including Hmong food and treats. If you have questions, contact Wendy Andersen (firstname.lastname@example.org/651-209-8002 x8253).

On Thursday, April 10, HCPA will host a Pages and PJ Family Reading Night from 5pm – 7pm. That evening, students can come dressed in their pajamas, bring a stuffed animal and take part in a variety of fun activities like: taking a picture with favorite book characters, take an adventurous book walk, make your own bookmark and receive awesome books for free!
The class with the most students at the Reading Event will win a pizza party!
What are you going to do over Spring Break? Read, rest, go to the park, see a movie, go to the mall, visit your family and friends, read a book, act in a play, plant flowers, learn to drive, celebrate a birthday?

Mr. Zajkowski’s Community Service Learning class prepared, cooked and served meals to the families living in the Ronald McDonald House.
The students fundraised $251 to purchase food so they could feed the families living in the home. From the students, “Thank you very much for donating money to help make our project possible! We appreciated your help and used the $251 to cook Rice, Stir Fry, Fried Chicken and bought soda for the patient’s parents.

Join us on Friday, March 21 from 6pm-8pm as our teachers, staff and students show off their skills in the Chiyou Auditorium. This event is $3/person and proceeds go towards the 2014 Prom led by Ms. Kathie Smith and her 2014 Prom Committee.
